Personal Trainer UK is an online directory service that connects individuals seeking personal training with qualified personal trainers across the United Kingdom. We act as a platform provider and are not party to any agreement between users and personal trainers.

2. Listing Terms for Personal Trainers

By submitting a listing to our directory, you agree that:

• All information provided is accurate, current, and not misleading
• You hold all relevant qualifications and insurance required to operate as a personal trainer in the UK
• You have the right to use any images, logos, or content you submit
• We may remove or edit listings at our discretion if they violate these terms
• Free listings may be removed after 12 months of inactivity
• Paid subscriptions are subject to the pricing terms at the time of purchase

3. Subscription and Payments

• Free listings — available indefinitely with basic features as described on the Pricing page.
• Paid subscriptions (Basic & Premium) — billed monthly. Prices are as displayed on the Pricing page and may change with 30 days’ notice.
• All payments are in GBP and include VAT where applicable.
• Subscriptions auto-renew monthly unless cancelled before the renewal date.
• Refunds are not available for partial months, but you may cancel at any time to prevent future charges.

4. User Conduct

When using our website, you must not:

• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent information
• Use the website to spam, harass, or impersonate others
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems
• Scrape or copy directory listings for commercial use without permission
• Use our site in any way that violates UK law

5. Disclaimer

Personal Trainer UK provides a directory service only. We do not verify the qualifications, insurance, or credentials of listed personal trainers. We strongly recommend that users:

• Verify a trainer’s qualifications before engaging their services
• Confirm the trainer holds valid public liability insurance
• Consult a GP before starting a new exercise programme if you have health concerns

We accept no liability for any injury, loss, or damage arising from engagement with a personal trainer found through our directory.

6. Intellectual Property

The content of this website, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and design, is the property of Personal Trainer UK and protected by UK copyright law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

By submitting a listing, you grant Personal Trainer UK a non-exclusive licence to display your submitted content (name, bio, photos) on our platform.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Personal Trainer UK shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the website or any services arranged through it. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid for your listing in the 3 months prior to the claim.

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or a notice on the website. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
